Our Team: Not Just “Code Writers” — We’re Here to Help You Get the Job Done

our team

At Jinan Zorime, it’s hard to tell who’s who just by looking at their workstation. The person in work clothes squatting on the workshop floor tightening a screw might be our chief engineer. The one with a remote control in their pocket, watching the mower circle the test ground, could be the head of software. Our team shares one common “quirk” — we just can’t stand seeing a machine underperform.

Impressive Credentials, But Even More Impressive Experience

Zorime’s technical team holds degrees that stand up anywhere: mechanical design, embedded development, automatic control, robot operating systems — master’s degrees at minimum, and our core members are mostly senior engineers from automation-related fields. But to be honest, when we interview, what matters most isn’t the alma mater — it’s the question: “Have you ever repaired agricultural machinery? Have you ever worked in an orchard?”

Because we know all too well: building a remote-controlled mower is a completely different ballgame from building a robot vacuum. Agricultural and forestry environments are complex — there are rocks, steep slopes, weeds half as tall as a person, and signal interference that fluctuates unpredictably. You won’t find these things in textbooks, and labs can’t fully simulate them. Only engineers who’ve had mud on their trousers truly understand. That’s why every technical staff member at Zorime starts not with a manual, but with a day in the field alongside our veteran masters. As they put it: “Get a little dirt on you first, then talk about technology.”

When Problems Arise, We Never Point Fingers

Anyone in smart equipment knows that software-hardware integration issues are common. But at Zorime, we have an unwritten rule: whoever finds the problem leads the solution — all the way through, regardless of software or hardware boundaries. Once, a batch of remote-controlled mowers received overseas feedback about unstable remote control range. Another company might have first suspected the battery or the antenna. Our engineers flew out with spectrum analyzers, testing from six in the morning until eight at night. Eventually, they found the culprit: civil signal interference in a specific frequency band local to that area. Back home, the team worked overnight on a frequency-hopping algorithm update, and pushed the upgrade within three days. The customer later wrote: “You guys really go the extra mile — but that’s exactly what we like.”

This “no excuses, no buck-passing” attitude has earned us genuine trust from customers on many projects. A farm owner we’ve worked with for years once said: “When Zorime people show up, I’m at ease. Even if they have to lie in the mud to fix your machine, they won’t cut corners.”

A Blend of Experience and Fresh Thinking

On our team, there are several veteran experts with over twenty years of experience. Their greatest skill isn’t writing papers — it’s knowing something’s wrong just by listening: abnormal motor speed, slightly unbalanced blade, gearbox low on oil — they can diagnose it with their ears. That kind of know-how is built over decades; money can’t buy it.

The younger generation excels in algorithms, embedded systems, and IoT. They’ve given traditional mowers a “brain” — automatic path planning, auto-recharge on low battery, remote monitoring via mobile app. The veterans mentor the juniors, and the juniors teach the veterans how to code. The two groups often get into heated debates over coffee, but after it’s over, they’re back shoulder-to-shoulder tweaking machines in the workshop. It’s this blend of experience and fresh thinking that gives our products both rugged durability and smart sophistication.

Service Isn’t After-Sales — It’s Every Step of the Way

At Zorime, our technical team doesn’t hide in offices. We work directly with customers. From the very first phone call, an engineer gets involved. We don’t just ask “What horsepower do you need?” — we ask: “Is your land flat or sloped? How tall are the weeds usually? How many people operate the machine?” Sometimes customers find these questions tedious. But after the machine arrives, they understand — every device has been “tailored” to their specific land conditions.

This is why our OEM/ODM customization services work so well: our technical team isn’t a passive order-taker, but an active solution provider. You want an extra-special cutter deck? Possible — but we’ll need to recalculate the weight and balance. You want to convert the remote to one-handed operation? No problem — but we’ll simulate the risk of accidental triggering first. This “rigorous” approach means our custom products rarely come back because they “don’t work well.”

In a Nutshell: Our Team Is Reliable

If we had to sum up the Zorime team, it would be four words: down-to-earth and dependable. We don’t boast about how great we are. But we can guarantee this: every piece of equipment that leaves Zorime has been personally tested by an engineer. Every technical issue is followed through to resolution. Every customer’s feedback is brought to the team meeting for discussion.

If you ever come to Jinan, you’re welcome to drop by our R&D office. You might see someone testing a new blade’s wear resistance with real mud, or someone scratching their head over code. And you might even get pulled out to the test field to drive a remote-controlled mower yourself. We believe that once you’ve used it, you’ll know whether the machines built by this team are worthy of your trust.
